The Open Hearth Offers you a "home away from home," whether it's for a night, a getaway weekend or a longer stay. We are open year-round and family run, which offers you personalized attention, clean and comfortable accommodations, a deep restful sleep, and very affordable rates!

We're ideally located on Route 3 in the town of Trenton Maine, just 10 short miles from beautiful Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor and the Ferry to Nova Scotia.

Our country cottages, each with its own charm, all have private bathrooms with shower, full and queen size beds, electric heat and t.v. Some can accommodate up to six persons. Non-smoking also available. Our cottages are available from May - October.

Our large New England Home, built in the early 1800's, offers private guest rooms tastefully furnished with Victorian accents. All are non-smoking and offer a private bathroom and cable t.v.

Also available are Spacious Motel Units, each with two full size beds, bathroom with tub/shower, phone, cable t.v. and some have air conditioning. They are available year-round. Non-smoking also available.

After an active day exploring Acadia National Park,everyone is invited to enjoy a soothing soak in our indoor jaccuzzi, the perfect place to relax and unwind.
