Home

Located on a quiet dirt road in the small village of Montville, Dave Olson is creating quality pine furniture in the workshop attached to his home in the woods.

Hutch

In the tradition of fine craftsmen Dave prides himself on the quality of his work. Not only is his furniture beautiful, it is very practical and useful.

Tall Cabinets

Dave's attention to detail will impress you. You will find both Shaker Style and Country Style and many pieces are either finished or unfinished.
Small Cabinets

In addition to his own work, Dave has a selection of quality antiques, handcrafted decoys and other small wood products. All of the wood items are made locally and reflect Dave's attention to detail.

Painting

Dave also has an excellent collection of small watercolors for your enjoyment. These paintings of Maine scenes are beautifully framed and are the work of one of Dave's friends. A great addition to any home and a constant reminder of the beauty of Maine. These also make great gifts for friends and family members.

How to find Dave: Traveling East on Route 3 from Augusta you will go about 1/2 hour until you pass the Lake St. Geroge State Park. Continue for another 7 miles and watch carefully for the state roadside sign that has Sugar Hollow Farm on it. The sign is rather small and not the typical blue sign you will have seen in many locations - not sure why. Turn left onto the next road (it is dirt). Go about 2 miles down this road to Dave's place.

If you are traveling West on Route 3 from Belfast then you will go about 2 miles west of Patchwork Plus (a nice gift shop) and turn right onto Dave's road. There is also a small state sign with Sugar Hollow Farm on it to warn you.
